As Easter is very soon I thought I would share with you one of my all time favourite Easter recipes, Crispy Easter nests. These are so simple to make and require little ingredients they also are super delicious! I made quite a big batch but if you wanted you could probably half this recipe. I think these would be perfect to make for an Easter gift or just as a yummy sweet treat!

Makes 16 muffin sized nests

for these you will need:

450g plain chocolate

4 tbsp golden syrup

100g butter

150g cornflakes

48 mini eggs (roughly 2 packs)

1. Line a muffin tin with paper cases (you could use smaller cases and make smaller nests)

2. Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a pan of hot boiling water.Make sure not to let the base of the bowl touch the water. Stir until the mix is smooth

3. Then pour the chocolate mix over the cornflakes and mix until all the cornflakes are thoroughly covered.

4. Then spoon the mixture into the cases and decorate with mini eggs. Leave in the fridge to cool for a couple of hours then enjoy!

So that's my super quick and easy Easter nests recipe I hope you enjoyed. Stay tuned for more Easter themed bakes.
